Alexander Millington
Alexander is an award nominated writer, performer, theatre maker and researcher. He is Creative Director of Split Infinitive Theatre and is conducting research for PhD examining acts of intimacy in contemporary British drama through De Montfort University, Leicester.
Alexander has performed his work in theatrical spaces around the UK and has presented his research at conferences around Europe.
Playwright
Writing for the theatre for over a decade, Alexander has had his work performed at numerous festivals and venues around the UK, receiving nominations for his work from Buxton Fringe Festival and UK / West End Theatre Awards.
Performer
Trained at the University of Lincoln, Alexander has worked on a variety of productions as a performer including plays, musicals, TIE and radio.
Researcher
Currently undertaking a practice-based PhD at De Montfort University, Alexander is examining intimacy and sexual behaviour in contemporary British theatre, with a focus on British playwriting and the work of Intimacy Directors.
